About Driftwood
Driftwood started as a folder of text files. One of us kept pasting articles into it to read later, then highlighting the good parts by hand. After a few years that folder had become the most useful thing on the laptop — so we turned it into a small app, and kept it small on purpose.
What it is
A reading library and a notebook in one. You save a link, Driftwood strips it down to readable text, and you highlight and annotate as you go. There is no feed to scroll and nothing to recommend you. It opens, it waits, you read.
What it isn't
It isn't a social network, an inbox, or a place to be productive about being productive. We don't sell data because we don't collect much of it. If you leave, your whole library comes with you as plain Markdown.
Who's behind it
Two people in different time zones who like long articles and short tools. We ship slowly, answer email, and fix the bugs you find. Say hello at hello@sw-01.jumbovpn.gg.
